Stoopid cold.

I think I caught the plague. It's a nasty bug that's been making the rounds, so I have some minor sinus congestion and chest congestion. I'm drinking lots of tea and eating (?) soup to try and keep myself hydrated and keep my blood sugar up. The last thing I need is for it to tank and for me to add nausea to my lovely list of symptoms.

In regards to the premiers of Dancing With the Stars and Castle, I'm very happy with what I've seen so far (dude...when did Aaron Carter grow up?). I can't say that I have an official favorite yet, mostly because only the men danced last night and the women dance tonight. I'm going to watch with a cup of tea and hope that my chest congestion will leave me alone long enough for me to sleep.

Maria and I had enough time to hang out.  We went to the Halloween store, hung out in the mall for a bit, and I priced fabric for the party dress.  I'm planning it in silver, and now it comes down to if I want it solid silver or sparkly silver.  (The plain silver is cheaper than the sparkly silver.)

Anyway, I'm tired, a little peckish, and in dire need of sleep.  Ta.

It's Quote-tastic!

Two lovely ladies, [livejournal.com profile] irksnapple and [livejournal.com profile] chaosblue did a very lovely interview regarding their trilogy novel The Peacock King, which gave me a great world view on leading men:

[livejournal.com profile] chaosblue : I *love* it when the Judge catches it in the teeth, but I have a long history with loving to watch male leads get their asses handed to them. Chiba Mamoru, I’m lookin’ at you!

Because Tuxedo Kamen is a tool and is brainwashed at least once per season.  ^^  Though I have to wonder how many people actually got that reference.  At any rate, I do believe that quote makes Char one of the coolest people on the planet.
