I'm a big fan of tea and cookies. Of I'm feeling particularly British tea and biscuits (or a fresh batch of crumpets).

Try the Joy of Cooking recipe for 'cream scones', but use half the sugar (otherwise its just too much).

If it's rainy and cold? A mocha (or the closest facsimile I can manage without an espresso machine if I'm at home). For summer rainy afternoons, ice tea and wheat thins.
