In happy news, I decided that it was time to watch Escaflowne again. I forgot how much I love that series. Sadly butchered by FOX Kids, it's a great series with action, comedy, romance and drama. And more drama. XD I put in the first disc and watched it as I cut out the pattern pieces for my party dress yesterday, which was interesting seeing as I was watching it in Japanese. (While I don't dislike the casting of the dub, I find the writing painful.) It's kind of a pity that the series lacks any definitive fanservice (all implied, damn it) but at the same time, it's almost what gives it some of its charm. I'll probably continue to watch the series as I sew my party dress, though I might have suck it up and put the audio to English so I'm not just hearing chattering Japanese in the background.
I'm still looking for first-hand information about Louisiana as well. ^^ Any help will be repaid with home made brownies. And these are GOOD brownies too. (They're not called Disgustingly Rich Brownies for nothing!) And fudge. I'll repay with fudge - granted you're not lactose intolerant. ^^;;
