Well, crap

Still chugging right along in NaNo. No memorable quotes yet, but I have a sneaking suspicion that they'll appear eventually. Also, well over the 10K mark, meaning that I'm over 20% done. Too bad it doesn't feel like it.
So while back I posted about Inuyasha's return to animation. They've REALLY condensed the story lines down, so I decided to check on the tanboken and see which volume they were at. In SIX episodes, they've managed to cover TEN volumes. Yeah, a lot of the minor sublots have been trimmed and the main plot condensed. I figure Kikyo's permanent departure will be in two weeks, and we'll finally see Sesshoumaru's mother in three. Four, at most, depending on if they drag out Kikyo's death. Also, I really hope they keep the subplot about Sango's boomerang - totally sloshed Inuyasha is fucking hilarious and I will be very sad if they leave that out.
I'm currently watching a program about the Anti-Fascist Protective Rampart. It's not anything new - I learned all about this in my "Twilight of the Cold War" class. This and the Cuban Missile Crisis, along with some other great moments in Soviet history, like Chernobyl. Anyway, it's nice to see the Hitler Channel showing something other than, well, Hitler.
