[Error: unknown template qotd]I was fourteen years old on my first trip to New York City. We were waiting in lines for tickets to a Broadway show. I was trying to take in everything that was Times Square. I was paying attention to everything but what was right in front of me. Suddenly my dad said my name, and I looked at him curiously.
"Hm?"
"Don't look at me, in front of you."
I turned my head to what was right in front of me and I'm sure my eyes widened in shock. Tony Danza was smiling at me, looking at me curiously as I had been paying attention to everything and everyone but him.
I think I managed to squeak out a timid, "Hi!" and he chuckled. He handed me a flier which was announcing his extended run on Aurthur Miller's A View From the Bridge. He then gave me a wide smile.
"You know, if I had eyes like yours, I would be a big movie star," he said, slightly cocking his head to the side. Then he turned and continued with his promoting. He barely glanced at my brother, brushed past my father and my uncle, and I sat on the planter, contemplating what had just happened.
I've also met Marcos Avila, husband of Cristina Saralegui and a former member of The Miami Sound Machine. I met him sitting in the Blue Dolphin Studio's stage manager's office. I was introduced to him by my father, who had worked with him on a couple of different projects.
