Organized chaos

I took a nice, long look around my apartment this morning, and came to the conclusion that the whole place is in a state of organized chaos. True, some parts are clean and well kept and completely organized, like the kitchen and the bathroom. The bedrooms, living room and dining room are all in a state of organize chaos. There's clutter around the edges, but you can still walk around the rooms no problem. And I know where everything is. It's just not *spotless*.
Normally this doesn't bother me. I like a little chaos. Makes a residence feel like it's lived in and not like a magazine spread. But on the same note there's this little niggling voice in the back of my head saying that things could be cleaner. This isn't because I'm having company this weekend - most of my friends could care less how clean the apartment is so long as there's no mold growing anywhere - but some deep-seeded inner voice going, "Do something productive with your day! I know, you can clean!"
Of course, I also have a bunch of laundry to fold (it can just hang on the line dry rack forever) and some stuff to wash (I have no idea what got on my pants, but it's sticky). I also need to call the Clarion Hotel and inquire after the job that I interviewed for last week. Though it could be that one of my references was/is on vacation, and the hiring manager is trying to get in contact with this person. Hmmm....
