Re: Can I kill Microsoft now?
Apr. 10th, 2009 11:56 amSo it turns out the whole Hotmail thing was a "glitch." I put glitch in quotation marks because it wasn't that Hotmail was down, I could access it AFTER downloading the Windows Live Mail client. >_o
Then today on MSN.com there was an article about how the glitch was fixed and that Hotmail clients could continue to use Hotmail via the web.
I have reached the conclusion that the "glitch" was put in place to force Hotmail and other MSN web-based email users to download and use the Windows Live Mail client. It didn't even occur to me today to even try and access Hotmail. I just figured that it now had to be handled via the WLM client.
Very sneaky, Microsoft, very sneaky. However, now I am on to you and your wiley ways.
