Writer's Block: Home Cooking

[Error: unknown template qotd]Two nights ago I made chicken stir-fry for me and my husband.  The night before was chicken casserole, the night before that was Hamburger Helper.

I do a lot of home cooking because my husband and I think that going out is FEO - for emergencies only - or for special occasions. 

To iPhone or not to iPhone

My cell phone contract expires this month so I'm looking to get a new phone.  I have a Motorola RAZR right now, and I like it.  It's easy to use, good features, yadda yadda yadda.  I like this phone, but it's dying so I need to get a new one.  And since my contract is up, it means I can get a new phone for a pretty reasonable price.  Of course my carrier is pushing the 3G iPhone, and there's nothing wrong with that.

I want to get a new iPod.  My old one had an unfortunate accident with a puddle last summer and I've been wanting a new one.  At first I didn't care about the iPod - you're paying for the name ANYWAY - but I got used to it, I liked how it worked, and now I'm thinking that maybe I can kill two birds with one stone and get a phone AND an iPod with nifty PDA functions, a GPS, and so on.

However I don't know if I want to spend the money.  I suppose I can, as well as pay my husband the $30 each month for the unlimited data transfer/Internet usage (?) that part of getting the iPhone.  So F-list, do any of you have an iPhone?  What do you think of it?  I would use the GPS function because I like to know where I'm going, I'd use the iPod function, I'd use the PDA functions, I play games on my phone (usually demos, but if I get unlimited transfer what the hell, I can get full games) so it's kind of worth it but I don't know if it'd be REALLY worth it.

I've gotten mixed reactions from friends and family about this, so I gotta figure this out ASAP.
