I have been up for six hours and forty-five minutes. I am tired. I have also managed to recover the guest room (mostly).
In regards to the guest room, one of the Odds and Ends boxes has been picked through and consolidated with another box with the result of one less box in the guest room closet. I also to the opportunity to pick through old text books and find all of my books on the Civil War for my NaNo project. Ahhhh...gotta love the smell of research materials.
Hopefully I'll get my car stuff bagged up and put off to the side for my new vehicle (gonna need a new steering wheel cover though), and then get things stacked/placed neatly before my dad get here. And I should probably put the box fan in the storage closet outside and vacuum the carpet and dust the shelves and clean the junk off of the dresser....
Oh yeah, just the guest room alone leaves me with plenty to do. Joy to my life.
Aside from already being exhausted (getting only four hours of sleep will do that to a person) I need to sew the hem on the MLP jacket and the get to work on the bolero jacket for Katie's wedding. While I don't think that sewing while tired is a good idea (I honestly don't want to sew something to myself), I do need to get it done, and SOONER rather than LATER. TT_TT
I think I may take a power nap this afternoon, then put something on (a movie or a TV series) and sew. I don't know if I have the energy to finish what I need to do in the guest room - some of those boxes are damn heavy. (Curse the fact that my major had a minimum of four books per course.) At any rate, progress has been made at the very least, and maybe I'll pick away at it again if I get a second wind. But for now, all I really want to do is sleep.
