The Thing That Goes Doink

I'm so out of it.  Sadly, hydrocodone more or less knocks me out - all I can do is sit on the couch and watch movies because I can't GO anywhere.  Well, I can, I just need someone else to drive me because I am not allowed anywhere near my car right now.

So I'm going in for surgery tomorrow.

Some people might not think much about this.  Especially since it's just having my wisdom teeth out.

BUT I HAVE NEVER HAD SURGERY OF ANY KIND BEFORE AND I'M SCARED, DAMN IT.

I still have my tonsils.  My appendix has given me absolutely no trouble.

So, perhaps you can understand my apprehension.  I've never had any kind of surgery.  I'm having general anesthetic because I don't want to be awake for any of the bone crunching, and since I've never had general, I have no idea if I have a reaction to it or not.

(I don't have allergies of any kind, so I don't think I'm allergic to it, but who knows.)

I can't eat for eight hours before, leaving my cutoff at 3 AM.  I'm snacking now.  (Granola bars FTW!)  I will probably wake myself up to get a glass of juice at two thirty (or I may sleep right though it, knowing me).  Crap.  I wish I didn't feel like puking right now.  (Unpleasant to share, but gives a general state of my nerves.)

I think I'm going to hide now.
