Writer's Block: And the Apple Goes To
Aug. 17th, 2009 06:57 pm[Error: unknown template qotd]Well, there was Jack Drummond, my fifth grade teacher. He made learning exciting and accessible - I don't think I'm EVER going to forget his lecture on the American Revolution.
Next was Joni Fenton, who really got me started down my path towards becoming a teacher myself. She wasn't the most beloved teacher at Hanford High, but to me she made the social sciences something that I could get into, and enjoy sharing with others. It was in her class that I got my first taste of teaching, and as those young minds turned to me for help when she wasn't available, I realized what I wanted to do with my life.
