For anyone on my F-List who is participating in NaNoWriMo this year, my dear friend princessriku made some excellent icons, and you can find them in her journal, here.

They are funny, text based, and accurate. All she asks for is credit. ^^

Also, I have started up my very own NaNo journal: penismighter

It was supposed to be penismightier....but I made a small typo and forgot the "i" in "mightier."

If you were wondering it's a send up to this classic SNL sketch.

Aaaaaaaand....that's that.  All future NaNo related entries will be in penismighter with occasional thoughts working their way into my standard LJ.

National Novel Writing Month is from November 1st to November 30th. Are you thinking about participating?

It's not a bad way to spend the month of November. It's stressful at times and I equate it to being in a pressure cooker most nights, but the feeling at the end of the month when you reach 50,000+ words is amazing.

And if you do it right, you only have to write around 2,000 words per day to meet the 50,000 at the end of the month.
