Kill me now. I'm tired of being sick. It sucks more than a Hoover...or whatever the strongest vacuum out there is. Maybe a Dyson? Anyway, this totally blows because I have no energy for doing anything and damn it! I have stuff to do! I thought I was going to finish the guest room but I've been feeling so sick that isn't happening.
I need to sew, but I just haven't felt like doing anything beyond sleeping.
Kill me now. Please, I beg of anyone who knows how to put me out of my misery...

Date: 2009-09-23 09:31 pm (UTC)Anyhoo...It is highly likely that you have the real, bona-fide influenza virus, given your level of fatigue.
Therefore, stay in bed. Breathing is, sorry to say, more important than sewing.
Can you delegate the airport pick-up to someone else? True flu can be nasty and it is probably unsafe for you to drive in your condition--genuine impairment of reflexes etc. just as bad as being drunk. Or phone hubby and request he use a taxi. I know it's a sucky way to be welcomed home but better than having you crash the car on the way to or from the pick-up.

Date: 2009-09-23 10:40 pm (UTC)Despite being tired, I seriously doubt it's the flu. As long as I'm sitting down or not moving around too fast I'm doing okay, and I've actually manged to sew quite a bit today without any negative side-effects, save my own lacking ability to hem a garment properly.
Thank you for your concern though. I don't think it's the flu, I'm just feeling under the weather and whiny. ^^;;
